Reliable chemical dosing is the difference between a wastewater plant that hits its permit and one that spends its life reacting to failures. Paragon builds and supplies dosing skids for polymer, coagulant (PAC, alum, ferric), pH correction (caustic, acid) and biocide dosing across drilling, wastewater and industrial process duties.
Each skid is configured around the actual chemical, dose rate, control philosophy and area classification — not an off-the-shelf catalogue package.
How it works
- 1Chemical is drawn from an IBC, day tank or bulk storage into a suction manifold with strainer and calibration column.
- 2A dosing pump (solenoid diaphragm, motor diaphragm or progressive-cavity) meters flow accurately against a 4–20 mA signal or manual setpoint.
- 3Discharge injects into the process line via an injection quill, with backpressure, pressure-relief and isolation valves as required.
- 4A PLC or dedicated controller closes the loop against a process signal — pH, ORP, turbidity, flow — and alarms on out-of-range conditions.

Selection factors
Pump technology follows the chemical
Solenoid pumps suit low-dose, low-viscosity duties. PC pumps handle polymers, high-viscosity or high-solids chemicals. Match technology to the fluid, or pay in downtime.
Bunding and material compatibility
Every dosing skid should be bunded to full tank volume and built from materials rated for the specific chemical. Ferric on 304 stainless, sodium hypochlorite on PVC — get this wrong and you rebuild the skid in six months.
Instrumentation earns its keep
Flow meters, calibration columns and low-level switches turn a dosing skid from a black box into a controllable process. Skimp on instruments and every operator problem becomes a shutdown.
